Application Period: April 22nd to 26th
The first application period for double majors, track system, and micro degrees is open from April 22nd to 26th for undergraduate students. To apply for these three academic systems, general students must have enrolled over three semesters, while transfer students are required to have enrolled for two or more semesters. Students who do not have to complete a major entrance procedure must have enrolled for more than two semesters. Primarily, the double major system enables students to take two or more major courses, including their current major. If international students — admitted through the special admission for undergraduate international students after 2016 — have not submitted a certificate of Korean proficiency by the end of their third semester, they are not eligible to apply for double majors. Next, the track system is fundamentally identical to the double major system, except for the minimum number of credits required; they only require 18 to 21 credits. Lastly, the micro degree is a credential system that certifies the completion status if students earn minimum credits in specific academic fields. Completing a micro degree is not necessary for graduation, and it is possible for students to first enroll in a lecture eligible for a micro degree without actually applying for the system.
