International students who were accepted to Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) after 2014 must acquire Global Pum to qualify for graduation. This requirement excludes transfer students and students admitted with English exam scores and government scholarships. Students admitted between 2014 and 2015 should have level 4 or more in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), while those admitted after 2016 must accomplish level 5 or above. Students can submit their TOPIK certificate to the Office of International Student Services (OISS) through Challenge Square, regardless of the expiration date, as offline submission is not available. While students must submit their certificates before graduation, international students accepted after 2016 should prove their test scores before entering their second academic year; if not, they will be restricted when applying for majors or registering for major-related courses. Additionally, international students who entered through special admission for undergraduate international students after 2016 are required to submit their certificate by the end of their third semester. If not certified, the student will be restricted from enrolling in multiple majors and registering the maximum credits applicable. Students who have received a score above level 2 after taking the test can request financial support from the OISS for the exam fee by registering their bank accounts when submitting their certificate.
