Autumn has finally come, and a new semester has begun. Even though it was hard to enjoy the summer at its best due to the pandemic situation, I hope Kingos had time to recharge themselves during the summer vacation. With the beginning of a new semester, many students would have set various goals. I believe setting a certain goal is a very important task to have a more productive life as the existence of the goal leads us to try and experience new things. Moreover, goals can help us overcome the challenges we face throughout life’s journey.
For me, the most important goal of this semester is to handle my work well as the editor-in-chief of The Sungkyun Times (SKT). Having worked as editor-in-chief for approximately two months now, it is true that I have a lot of burdens and worries for the remainder of the semester. However, I would like to get through any difficulties, remembering the goal I initially set. Moreover, the SKT has a special meaning to me as it was always with me from the start of my college life. This semester, which is my last semester at the SKT, I’d like to make good memories and learn precious lessons.
I also encourage Kingos to make a goal for this semester, and it is okay even though the goals are just trivial things. Our goals will motivate us to live with more effort and devotion. And I sincerely hope that all Kingos will achieve their goals throughout the semester.
