Introduction to Starfield Hanam
Starfield is a complexcultural facility that the business group Shinsegae opened in September 2016. People can go shopping, enjoy delicious food, and rest with family or friends there. It is the largest shopping mall in Korea, and has four floors above ground and four underground. Starfield's total floor area is 460,000㎡, which is 70 times bigger than a regular soccer field. Here one can find not only famous international brands such as Nike and Zara but also many stores such as Shinsegae Department Store and E-mart, so Kingos can go shopping freely for all kinds of things. There are also restaurants and coffee shops, so when exhausted from all the shopping, people can get some rest, too. In addition, there is a water park called Aqua Field and a game and sports experience center called Sports Monster. Also, with cultural facilities such as the movie theater Megabox and Youngpoong Bookstore, Starfield has everything you need.
How to Visit Starfield Hanam
Kingos from the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus should take bus No.140 at Myeongnyun 3-ga, Sungkyunkwan University Entrance. Then, get off at Gwangjang Market and walk to the Euljiro 4-ga Subway Station. After taking the subway Line 5, get off at Hanam Geomdansan Station and walk to Starfield for 13 minutes. Kingos from the Natural Sciences Campus should take subway Line 1 for Uijeongbu at Sungkyunkwan University Station. Then, get off at Singil Station and transfer to Line 5 for Hanam Geomdansan Station. The route is identical from then on.

Enjoy Various Activities at Sports Monster!
Sports Monster is a sports playground where people can enjoy various activities and provides live entertainment such as ever-changing and unpredictable monsters like its name. Sports Monster is on the fourth floor in Starfield, and people are required to buy a ticket at the ticket office and receive a wristband to enter. The wristband allows you to enjoy diverse experiences, but they must be returned before leaving. Sports Monster has four different concepts indoors: a basic zone, an exciting zone, an adventure zone, and a digital zone. There are various sports courts like a light emitting diode (LED) basketball court in the basic zone, and in the exciting zone, people can play games such as darts. Kingos can experience various climbing activities at the adventure zone and play games using digital devices at the digital zone. The SKT would like to introduce three zones. Besides these, Kingos can buy snacks at the Monster Lounge and store their luggage in lockers. Sports Monster also provides a service that sends the results of one’s experiences by text message. 01. Welcome to the Adventure Zone
The Adventure Zone is the place that people visit the most. Art Climbing, Building Climbing, Jumping Climbing, and Master Climbing are available in this zone. Art Climbing is entertaining climbing for beginners, and Building Climbing is high stair climbing as if climbing a precipice. In particular, Jumping Climbing is recommended for Kingos who want to experience dynamic jumping from a high place. As Master Climbing is real outdoor sport climbing, it is recommended for Kingos interested in rock climbing. Besides climbing, there are many other thrilling experiences, too. Kingos can experience indoor drops and slides from a height of 8 meters and cross obstacles from a height of 6.5 meters. The SKT recommends the crossing obstacles experience at the rope course the most because it gives a feeling of being a cast member of entertainment shows.
02. Every Game Is Here!
In the Exciting Zone, there are the Trampoline Zone, which is four meters in height, and the Dancing Zone. Unlike the Adventure Zone, there are also break games such as darts and laser shooting. As people can choose a shooting distance, and the staff explains how to shoot in detail, Kingos who shoot for the first time can also experience the game without burden. In the Digital Zone, most are experiential sports games: soccer games and baseball games with digital screens, digital squash, and digital snowboarding can be experienced. These allow Kingos to feel like doing real sports and play games more excitingly with digital devices that provide splendid videos. Furthermore, bike racing programs and motorcycle racing programs are held to compete with friends, so the SKT recommends visiting them and creating memories with friends. It will provide both the fun of a virtual space with digital devices and a sense of reality in competing with friends.

01. Cute Goods on Point
There is a goods store called the Toy Kingdom on the third floor in Starfield. It is attractive enough to catch people’s attention because there are huge toy figures with colorful decorations at the entrance. Inside the Toy Kingdom, there are digital devices and games where people can touch and experience toys. The magic mirror where people can dress like a Disney princess through a digital screen will be a good photo spot for Kingos. In particular, a game zone that provides Pokémon games is worth enjoying if there are Kingos who are big fans of Pokémon. Moreover, the Toy Kingdom also has a toy zone and a Lego shop. In the Toy Zone, there are various goods such as the clothes of Disney and Marvel characters and rag dolls. Some Lego products are only displayed in the Toy Kingdom, so Kingos who like Lego should visit the Lego shop. The Toy Kingdom runs from 10:00 to 22:00 every day.
02. A Feast of Foods
There is a food hall called Eatopia on the third floor in Starfield. About 18 restaurants are located at Eatopia. Pildong Hambak, which was highly praised on the Korean entertainment show Baek Jong-won’s Alley Restaurant, a famous ramen chain called Tantanmyeon Gongbang, where you can eat the Japanese version of the Sichuan spicy noodle dish, and a café called The Alley, known for its signature brown sugar deerioca, are examples. In particular, the SKT recommends visiting the Lobster Bar as Kingos will be able to have various foods there, including lobster (which is hard to find normally), steak, and pasta. Most of the dishes cost about ₩20,000. In addition, there is another place to eat on the first floor in Starfield: Gourmet Street, the street of restaurants. With 16 restaurants, including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Italian restaurants, and cafés, Kingos might choose what to eat depending on their taste.
