As summer’s heat starts to cool off, September has finally approached us with its cool autumn breeze. I am sure many Kingos have found this summer exceptionally busy. Now it is time to pour that passion back into your campus life. As important as reminiscing past memories is, marching forward to experience new situations based on those memories is also important.
The Sungkyun Times (SKT) had a fantastic time this summer vacation: we visited Singapore to cover news and had a chance to communicate with other presses at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). Thus, the SKT is happy to inform Kingos of some new changes to our magazine. Firstly, the newly-added “Off Campus” is a special article based on news coverage the SKT has gathered in Singapore. Also, various new plans, such as recruiting guest reporters for each issue, will be implemented so that the SKT can step up to become a genuine university press that actively delivers the voices of Kingos. Also, the substantive editor position has been created to improve the quality of our magazine.
Last but not least, autumn is a time to reflect on one’s past six months. Especially as Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving Day, is coming up, how about talking to the people around you and thinking about changes you may want to make in your life? The SKT will hope that Kingos will wrap up the last bits of 2022 with flying colors.
