Universities in Korea, China, and Japan built consortia to exchange students every semester through the CAMPUS Asia (Collective Action for Mobility Program of University Students in Asia) Project. The project had its test operation with eight consortia from 2011 up to the first half of 2016, and the project expanded by adding nine more consortia on October 31, 2016. The College of Liberal Arts and the Law School in SKKU have been selected to participate since the demonstration project and the Graduate School of Water Resources recently got involved.
Compared to ordinary exchange programs, various benefits such as scholarships, free dormitory arrangements, and complimentary language education are offered. In addition, students can learn the importance of forming an East Asian community and build personal relationships with the foreign students who come to SKKU by the tutor system, which is a system that matches an SKKU student with a foreign student for cultural exchanges. In order to apply for participation, students must submit documents and undergo an interview
