Embrace the Beauty of Tradition

In September, Kingos will observe millions of vehicles on highways and people excitedly heading to their hometowns. September is a special month for Koreans because of the Korean harvest festival, Chuseok. All family members from near and far gather together during Chuseok to share traditional food, play folk games, and give thanks to their ancestors. Therefore, the Sungkyun Times (SKT) visited Namsangol Hanok Village in Jung-gu to get a taste of the traditional life with their antique items for the upcoming holiday. Namsangol Hanok Village offers traditional experience programs and activities such as wearing hanbok, writing Hangeul, and playing folk games. Visitors can definitely experience traditional life and enjoy the holiday with refreshments. The SKT hopes Kingos have a wonderful time with their families during the holiday.
