The Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Healthcare Center offers a medical check-up service for Kingos to assess their health conditions. The examination takes place at Korea Medical Institute (KMI) centers located in eight different regions nationwide, including Gwanghwamun, Gangnam District, and Suwon City. Students who wish to participate must register through the Golden Lawn Square (GLS) page during one of the application periods. Health assessments are available until May 31st, excluding Sundays and public holidays when the centers are closed. One can select their desired date and location when applying through the GLS page. Further information will then be sent through text or KakaoTalk. The check-up consists of a chest X-ray, internal medicine consultation, dental exam, blood test, urine examination, eyesight and hearing test, blood pressure test, and body composition analysis. While the basic fee for students is ₩30,000, individuals who desire additional examinations may need to pay an extra cost. Kingos can refer to the SKKU website’s notice page for more precise information, including pre-check-up guidelines, insurance benefits, and result consultations.
