The Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Korean Language Center is launching a short-term language course for the summer of 2025. Anyone with a high school degree or equivalent academic qualification can apply through the Sungkyun Language Institute (SLI) website. The application period begins on March 17th and goes until April 18th. Interested individuals must upload a copy of their passport, high school degree certificate, and placement test sheet to apply. Participants can select between a two-week or three-week course, each consisting of Korean language classes held from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be weekly classes where students will have cultural excursions off-campus and visit places such as amusement parks, the Hangang River, and more. The two-week program is scheduled from August 4th to 18th, while the three-week program is from July 28th to August 18th, both of which will be on the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus (HSSC). If necessary, participants can also apply for temporary accommodation at the I-House dormitory, acceptance of which will be determined based on individuals’ order of application.
