The spring semester Tutoring Program for International Students officially began in March 2025. This program by the Office of International Student Services (OISS) aims to connect tutors with tutees who need help with their studies. Tutors, who can be either international or Korean students, must have received a grade of A or higher in the subject they plan to teach, while tutee slots are only open to international students. Students were allowed to apply for multiple courses; however, in that case, they had to complete and submit a separate Google form for each class. The matching results were announced on March 19th through the OISS website, and applicants were notified individually as well. Selected students will engage in tutoring sessions throughout the spring semester, from March 19th to June 20th. Tutors and tutees receive a maximum of ₩10,000 per person as an activity support fund for each tutoring session. In addition, tutors are required to provide at least eight sessions and eight hours of tutoring, and they must submit an activity report after each session. Their tutoring hours can be recognized as in-school volunteer service hours or as a part-time job, in which case, they will be paid ₩20,000 per hour. In addition, students who are selected as outstanding tutors will receive the Certificate of Excellent Tutor Award from the OISS.
