S-LINK (Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Learn, Interact, Network, Know), a new global student organization under the Office of International Student Services (OISS) at SKKU, was launched this year to support international students pursuing full degrees. S-LINK helps foreign students settle into life in Korea while promoting cultural exchange. Until recently, SKKU’s support programs primarily focused on exchange students, with no organization dedicated to assisting international students. S-LINK will serve as a student body that fills that gap by offering practical support and fostering community on campus. Its primary role consists of planning and running various programs, including onboarding support for newly admitted students, cultural events both on and off campus, community-building initiatives, and social media content creation. Created through the voluntary collaboration of international and Korean students, S-LINK aims to build genuine connections beyond borders. With its inauguration, SKKU takes a meaningful step toward becoming a more inclusive and global campus.
