The 24th Seoul Design Festival will take place from November 12th to 16th at COEX C Hall. Organized by the major media and publishing company Design House and the monthly magazine Design, the festival has established itself as one of Korea’s leading design exhibitions. Since its launch in 1976, it has drawn over 1.4 million visitors and thousands of brands and designers, becoming a platform where creativity meets industry. Under this year’s theme, Wayfinding, the festival aims to explore how design can guide people through an era of rapid change, offering a space for both creators and audiences to discover new perspectives and solutions. Reflecting this idea, the exhibition has been completely restructured into five new categories that mirror global design trends in technology, sustainability, craftsmanship, branding, and visual culture. The festival will also include a special exhibition titled Design Specialist, which presents twenty design teams selected by Design, as well as Young Designer Promotion, a program that nurtures promising newcomers, and Design Brand, an area that showcases leading domestic and global design brands. A global design conference will also take place on November 13th, where international speakers will share insights on emerging trends and innovations. As one of Korea’s largest and most anticipated design events, the Seoul Design Festival continues to serve as a creative compass, guiding designers, brands, and visitors toward the future of design.
